New and Emerging Communities in Hounslow – Mapping and Needs Assessment

The Social Policy Research Centre at Middlesex University is working with Hounslow Borough Council to help them better understand their newest and emerging communities. The Council has identified these communities as: Afghan, Algerian, Burmese, Sri Lankan, Bulgarian, Romanian.

In order to successfully map the six communities we need to better understand their needs (from employment, education, cohesion and settlement matters, addressing inequalities to health issues), how they are currently engaging with service providers in Hounslow and recommendations on  the best approaches for the Council to engage with them to improve their connectedness to Hounslow and everyday life experiences.

Deadline for information – 31 January 2014 (Deadline for Focus groups 20 Jan 2014)
